We touched down in Saigon 25 minutes early after an absolutely brilliant flight with Jetstar. We checked in at Darwin and were asked immediately if we wanted to change our seats to an exit row. "Sure!" we said, "how many are on board?" we asked. "33 all up" was the response.
An A320 with only 33 seats filled..... Boy did we have some leg room!!! Flight was smooth as silk and early, batteries in netbook easily lasted the 5 hour flight, no screaming kids on board. All is good!
We have finally arrived at the Elios Hotel in Saigon and are looking to a bit of sleep before heading out tomorrow to visit some of our favourite haunts... See ya then!!
that should wipe out all previous bad omens! any t-shirt shopping planned?? we're off to mum's place for dinner tonight then catching the last HP film. loving the blog so far!
